PINS Diversion
| Youth Services |
The PINS Diversion program provides referred youth with support and guidance in an attempt to keep them from going to court and possibly be placed in a group home. Youth and often their families receive counseling on appropriate behaviors, such as good school attendance, healthy decision-making and positive relationships. In addition, the Case Managers are part of the Families First/New York Connect team, who provide information, referral and assistance with connecting Schuyler County residents with a variety of agencies based on their needs and requests. These services include housing, long term care, health services, utility assistance etc.
The PINS Program is staffed by Catholic Charities, but housed and supervised by the Schuyler County Youth Bureau, located in the Schuyler County Human Services Complex, Room 128. For more information, call 607-535-2710.
