The First Step Victim Services program provides advocacy & referral services to all victims of crime in Schuyler County, with a strong focus on those experiencing domestic violence or sexual abuse. Staff members are available 24 hours/day and offer a wide variety of services to victims including Crime Victim Board assistance, court accompaniment, advocacy, home visits when safe, transportation to court appointments, counseling, and bi-weekly support groups.
