POSITION: Point of Entry Clerk
PRIMARY FUNCTION: To act as point of entry to assist clients by providing support services to meet requested needs this includes receptionist work, data collection, financial counseling, client intake and referral. This includes promoting a professional and welcoming atmosphere in the Emergency Services Unit. Applicant will assist vulnerable individuals and/or families with short-term emergency needs including the following types of situations: utility shutoffs, prescription assistance, transportation, housing, and other. Controls flow of clients to in-house service providers so that needs are met in a timely manner.
